Ron Huxley, LMFT

Ron Huxley is a licensed child and family therapist in the State of California. He has been working with children as young at 2 years of age and up on various childhood mental health disorders for the last 10 years. He is the author of the book "Love & Limits: Achieving a Balance in Parenting" and is the founder of the Parenting Toolbox Community website.

He regularly speaks to schools, community organizations, and corporations on parenting, childhood mental health disorders, and anger management issues. Many of his articles and columns are featured on prominent offline and online magazines and sites. Is a member of Who's Who Online in Mental Health and is the President of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists in his local area. Additionally, he was the recipient of the 1996 Child Abuse Prevention Awareness award.

Personally, Ron is a father of four children in a blended family which gives him practical experience with nontraditional families. Recently, he was a guest on the Leeza Gibbons show on working with generation y families and is the guest contributor for Jump magazine and Planetgirl.com. His web site (ParentingToolbox.com) is regularly featured on Oprah.com as a resource on family anger issues.
